Niner AIR 9 RDO Frame
Details
Niner’s history is rooted in the evolution of mountain biking. From the introduction of their first hardtail, they’ve worked tirelessly to push the limits of what people think is possible when it comes to the construction, geometry, and handling of premium bicycles. The [R]Evolution that began with the RKT 9 RDO continues with the AIR 9 RDO, and continues to prove that when it comes to wheel size, bigger is still better.
The AIR 9 frame is constructed using RDO Carbon Compaction System, which represents the ultimate in lightweight, strength, and reliability. The AIR 9 features Niner’s World Cup tested geometry—updated for a modern race fit and improved handling characteristics. Its 27.2mm seat post provides rider comfort while maintaining an uncompromised level of efficiency. To keep the ride smooth, the sleek tubes that comprise the length of the cockpit and seatstays are designed to optimize absorption of shock, while transferring all of your pedal power into forward motion. The AIR 9 is optimized for 100mm forks, with compatibility for up to a 120mm travel fork, and has internal cable routing for a clean setup that is Di2 ready. The AIR 9 frame identity has been refreshed with a bold design aesthetic. Its strong, overbuilt tube shapes define the meat of the frame, letting you know it’s got plenty of horsepower under the hood. The AIR 9 RDO is undoubtedly the best race and high-performance hardtail Niner has produced to date, one that will give you all the versatility, durability, and performance you’ve come to expect from them.
